Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and evaluating existing operational processes to deploy risk controls and mitigants
  • Engaging and liaising professionally and collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders to understand business needs and advise on future state
  • Gathering and processing data to identify process performance areas
  • Conducting gap analysis and presenting summary of findings
  • Designing workflow and process strategies to improve business performance
  • Creating and presenting process reports for approval
  • Overseeing the implementation of revised company processes and workflows
Requirements:
  • 5-7 or more years of experience in risk management within Australia's financial services / APRA-regulated entities, including business partnering roles
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk or related field
  • Proven experience in process improvement
  • Strong experience working on regulatory compliance driven environments and projects
  • Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically to identify and mitigate risks to the program as well as opportunities
Additional Experience:
  • Data Analytics (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Exposure to first line/second line/operational roles in Asset Servicing /Fund Administration/Capital Markets/Cash Payments operations
  • Good knowledge of the latest industry trends and regulatory changes
