Senior Business Analyst

Hydrogen Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting our client with a major process optimization project within their Risk business area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements: Translate business needs into clear and concise requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholders: Engage and inform stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements.
  • Analyze and model: Analyze documents, programs, logic, process flows, and specifications to model requirements.
  • Manage the requirements lifecycle: Prioritize requirements/user stories based on value, complexity, and feasibility.
  • Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third Party members to ensure business requirements are understood.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation/management strategies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in process mapping and optimization.
  • Background in working with Financial Risk teams.
  • Ability to understand regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Proven successful experience authoring and collaborating with business on a traceability matrix.
  • Ability to assist Stream Leads to secure Business Stakeholder alignment and approvals.
  • Ability to understand business functionality, complexity, and interdependencies.
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations.
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem-solving, issues management, and evaluation skills.
  • Understanding of modeling techniques, such as BPMN, data flow diagrams, and UML.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and reporting/presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize workloads.
