Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker.

This role involves providing person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

Requirements include:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
