Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Support Worker.

About the Role:

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide domestic assistance and personal care services to clients in their homes. This will include tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation, showering, toileting, assistance with medications, and social support. Your role will also involve transportation for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with personal care services including showering, toileting, and assistance with medications.
  • Offer social support and transport clients as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Live in or near Ballina and surrounding suburbs.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and have access to your own car.
  • Have 3+ months of industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
  • Be available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Friday (weekend availability is a bonus but not essential).
  • Commit to our paid Brilliant @ Basics Training when starting.
