Residential Care Officer


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Care Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities and psychosocial support needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting client progress, implementing Individual and Behaviour Support plans, and providing timely feedback and advice on plan implementation and life outcomes.

They will also be required to prepare monthly reports and end-of-plan reports to assist with NDIA and other representatives assess funding requirements, and liaise with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies, and private businesses about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services.

The role involves working various shifts, including mornings, evenings, awake overnight shifts, split shifts, and weekend work. We offer a range of benefits, including above award remuneration, salary packaging, and a Wellness Program.

Requirements:
  • Preferred Certificate 3 in Individual Support; traineeships available for those without an existing qualification
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities or mental health concerns either in a paid, voluntary, or lived experience capacity
