Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Conservation Restoration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the local environment through habitat conservation and biodiversity enhancement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Field experience in bushland restoration and weed control techniques
  • Demonstrable indigenous and exotic plant identification skills
  • Broad knowledge of indigenous species
  • Genuine interest in native flora and fauna
  • Understanding of OHS principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of herbicides and their use
  • Manual driver's license essential (must be competent at manual driving)
  • Construction Induction White Card (Must be obtained before starting)
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite and tablet-based mapping apps
  • Chainsaw - safe operation and maintenance
  • Working at heights training
  • 4wd training/experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - NRM or similar
