Bushland Regeneration Specialist

Environmental conservation is at the forefront of this role, where you will work in collaboration with experienced professionals to restore and conserve local ecosystems.

As a key member of our team, you will be working in Geelong or Thomastown, assisting in habitat restoration projects and identifying indigenous plant species.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fieldwork and assist in bushland restoration projects.
  • Classify and identify indigenous and exotic plant species.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of indigenous species and their habitats.
  • Work safely and efficiently in accordance with OHS principles and practices.
  • Operate chainsaws and other equipment with competence.

Requirements:

  • Manual driver's license with competent driving skills.
  • Construction Induction White Card.
  • High level of physical fitness.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite and tablet-based mapping apps.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in NRM or similar fields.
