Job Overview

Designing the Future Grid

As a key member of our design division, you will work closely with our design partner to deliver substation primary engineering up to 500kV.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the grid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead primary substation design up to 500kV, including layout, equipment arrangement, and electrical clearances.
  • Perform design calculations and develop complete design packages.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free, optimised designs.
  • Review system studies to ensure they meet industry standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • CPEng or working towards it.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body, such as Engineers Australia.
