Job Title: Substation Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Substation Design Specialist to join our engineering team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and upgraded substations, including material procurement, construction, and commissioning/startup support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering detailed designs for new, upgraded, and expanded substations.
  • Coordinating with designers, drafters, and support staff to ensure quality and accuracy in project delivery.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams on design and engineering matters.

Requirements for the role include:

  • A Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Design engineering experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery is expected.

Advancement towards Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is encouraged, and knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards is necessary.
