Job Opportunity

We are seeking a researcher with expertise in ocean salinity and coupled climate modelling to contribute to our prestigious research project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on changes in ocean salinity and its relation to the Earth's water cycle
  • Collaborate with PhDs, researchers, and programmers to achieve research goals
  • Develop and implement new methods of analysis of ocean observations
  • Build effective links with the discipline, profession, and wider community
Requirements:
  • PhD in physical oceanography or equivalent field
  • Good record of international recognition in research contributing to the field of physical oceanography
  • Experience in post-graduate research supervision
  • Advanced skills in climate model data analysis and ocean observation methods
  • Knowledge of machine learning or spatial Artificial Intelligence is desirable
Appointment Details:

The position will be at Academic Level B.
