Climate Research Specialist
You will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of oceanography and climate change by conducting cutting-edge research.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research in physical oceanography to investigate changes in ocean salinity and the Earth's water cycle.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact research that informs policy and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain effective links with the discipline, profession, and wider community through research collaborations and publications.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A PhD or equivalent in physical oceanography or a related field.
- Expertise in ocean salinity and its relation to the Earth's water cycle, as well as experience in coupled climate modelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
