Manufacturing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Expert to design and scale production methods in line with ISO13485 and GMP, utilising world-first technologies and techniques.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and growing in-house manufacturing capabilities. This includes optimising manufacturing processes for new production lines, navigating regulatory and quality expectations, and partnering with suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Optimise manufacturing processes from proof-of-concept through to scale-up lines.
  • Navigate regulatory and quality expectations while ensuring reliability, repeatability, and compliance.
  • Partner with suppliers and identify new ones, occasionally travelling internationally to deepen relationships.
  • Develop business cases for manufacturing scale-up and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead by example, rolling up sleeves in assembly and production while building teams and systems for consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as manufacturing, engineering or operations management.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 and GMP regulations.
