Community Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Community Trainer and Assessor, supporting individuals in their learning journey.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity, with the possibility of negotiating working days. You will receive a laptop to aid in your work.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program, focusing on language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training. Your contributions will have a positive impact on the community.
The Opportunity:- Develop engaging learning strategies and apply effective techniques to motivate students
- Identify barriers to learning and provide support to enhance student attendance
- Bridge the gap between learning and real-life scenarios, utilizing diverse communication methods to achieve optimal outcomes
- Conduct pre-training assessments and tailor training programs to meet contract requirements
- You will be an excellent communicator, capable of working effectively with diverse groups, including non-English speakers
- A driven and supportive individual who is passionate about empowering learners through education and skills development
- Able to inspire jobseekers to improve their LLN skills, facilitating their transition into education and employment
- You will thrive in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently
- An exceptional trainer and assessor, with expertise in vocational areas and a strong ability to facilitate learning
- Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus a Bachelor's degree with TESOL qualifications, or equivalent certifications
- Familiarity with the Australian Core Skills Framework is highly desirable
