Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Asset Management Specialist to develop an operational readiness package for a new 23kg ingot casting line.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the new casting line is ready for operation by developing asset management packages, creating Bills of Materials, performing asset criticality assessments, and maintaining accurate spare parts data in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a complete asset management package and creating Bills of Materials with assigned spare parts.
  • Performing asset criticality assessments, developing maintenance tactics, and writing and verifying maintenance procedures.
  • Preparing forms to add new parts to inventory and removing redundant ones, updating Bills of Materials and maintaining accurate spare parts data.
  • Preparing SAP upload sheets for various data points, including functional location structures, asset criticality ratings, and maintenance plans.
  • Creating an Asset Management Plan for Group Level Critical Assets and providing reports and recommendations on statutory inspections, training needs, and areas of concern or risk.

This role requires strong technical skills, experience in asset management, reliability engineering, or maintenance planning in heavy industries, and a strong understanding of SAP PM module and managing asset master data.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in RCM, FMEA, or other reliability methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Australian statutory inspection requirements.
