Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Orthopaedic Robotics Specialist. This is a full-time position based in Mackay, with the option for relocation and a comprehensive relocation package.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons during robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker's Mako system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, passion for surgical innovation, and excellent communication skills.

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
