Orthopaedic Specialist - Mako Robotics

Join the forefront of robotic-assisted surgery as an experienced professional to support orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of joint replacements using cutting-edge robotic technology.

This role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

You will be the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures and collaborating closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across regions to support multiple hospital sites.
