Job Title: Sustainable Environmental Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our environmental delivery scope through the implementation, and maintenance of a project-wide environmental management system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reporting on key environmental performance requirements, approvals, objectives, and standards for managing project environmental risks.
  • Developing and building capability of the Environment team through Environmental Field Leadership.
  • Leading environmental consultants and collecting environmental field monitoring information.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring scope-specific environmental deliverables such as Workplace Environmental Management Plans.
  • Liaising with government bodies, clients, and professional organizations on environmental matters and audits.
  • Mentoring and leading a small team of environmental professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or other associated discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Risk, Sustainability, Project Management, or other associated disciplines.
  • A current C Licence.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project system implementation, audit management, and environmental management.
  • Desirable prior experience on a Victorian Big Build job with EMF/EPR exposure.
