About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our air quality management strategy, performance and risk management across operations and projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in air quality, air pollutants and emissions across tunnels, roadways and projects.

The role involves providing technical guidance, contributing to leadership in environmental management excellence, leading coordination and delivery of air quality monitoring and assurance programs, interpreting and reporting on monitoring data, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks, liaising with regulatory bodies and responding to statutory reporting requirements.

  • Technical expertise in air quality, air pollutants and emissions
  • Strong experience in environmental management and air quality management
  • Proven ability to interpret air quality legislation and standards
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related field
  • Experience conducting audits, assessments and compliance reviews
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Ability to influence decisions and support training and awareness
  • Confidence working with consultants, contractors and regulatory stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Science or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in environmental management and air quality management
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
