Environmental Sustainability Specialist Role

The role is focused on driving environmental sustainability within the fashion industry. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key part in our performance and contribute to the implementation of strategies aligned with company values and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement climate and environment strategies and roadmaps, collaborating with responsible business units.
  • Partner with internal teams and supply chain to influence solutions and initiatives for energy efficiency, decarbonisation, waste, and environmental impacts.
  • Review and develop monitoring and reporting systems to track impacts and initiatives, including energy use, expenditure, and efficiency investments.
  • Assess and build business cases for future climate and environment initiatives to mitigate costs and environmental impacts.
  • Manage data collection, review datasets, and prepare reports for internal and external use.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in environmental disclosures, carbon accounting, and climate scenario analysis aligned with GHG Protocol standards.
  • Experience with strategy development, project planning, and internal communications.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and non-financial assurance programs.
  • Ability to influence management and stakeholders effectively.
  • Meticulous approach to data handling and reporting.
