As a Claims Handler, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our customers during challenging times. You'll be responsible for managing low-complexity claims from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and timely resolution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing claims end-to-end: Oversee low-complexity Workers Compensation claims from start to finish, guaranteeing a seamless and efficient resolution.
  • Confirming coverage & assessing liability: Gather facts, apply relevant laws, and issue appropriate notices and correspondence for new and ongoing claims.
  • Maintaining accurate data: Capture and update claims information in line with best practices and compliance standards.
  • Ensuring Zurich standards: Ensure all claims activities meet Zurich's governance requirements, policies, procedures, and relevant Workers Compensation legislation.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: Proven ability to manage end-to-end claims, including assessing liability, gathering information, and achieving timely resolutions.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Workers Compensation legislation, policies, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Customer focus: A background in customer-facing roles, with a strong emphasis on delivering positive experiences and effective communication.
