Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated claims professional to support our customers during challenging times.

As a claims advisor, you will play a key role in managing low complexity claims from start to finish. This includes capturing and updating accurate claims data, confirming policy coverage, and determining liability by gathering facts and applying relevant laws.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing claims end-to-end, ensuring a smooth and timely resolution. They will also confirm coverage and assess liability, gather facts, and apply relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims: Oversee low-complexity Workers Compensation claims from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and timely resolution.
  • Confirm coverage & assess liability: Gather facts, apply relevant laws, and issue appropriate notices and correspondence for new and ongoing claims.
  • Keep data accurate: Capture and update claims information in line with best practices and compliance standards.
  • Follow governance requirements: Ensure all claims activities meet Zurich's policies, procedures, and relevant Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Communicate proactively: Provide regular updates and support to customers, ensuring they feel informed and cared for throughout their claim.
  • Coordinate medical support: Organize medical examinations and investigations to help customers return to work.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in data entry and record-keeping
