Job Description:

The primary goal of this role is to support and enhance the teaching practices of Pre-K-6 educators, ultimately leading to improved student outcomes in literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops on best practice teaching approaches to Pre-K-6 teachers.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop data-driven strategies that foster student growth and achievement.
  • Evaluate teaching methods and provide constructive feedback to facilitate professional development among staff.
  • Create and utilise coaching resources that align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Foster a Christ-centred learning environment by supporting staff in their daily work.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A committed Christian, actively involved in their local church community, with a passion for education and a commitment to the organisation's values.
  • NESA Teacher Registration and a current Working with Children Check are essential requirements.
  • Proven experience in instructional coaching, data analysis, and implementing evidence-based practices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required, along with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting teacher development and promoting student success.
