Senior Finance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving financial budgets, forecasts, and reports, as well as providing leadership and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review financial budgets, forecasts, and reports to drive business decisions;
  • Lead the finance team and ensure delivery of professional, friendly, and helpful support that reflects the organisation's values and practice framework;
  • Evaluate and implement standardised financial practices, systems, and procedures to optimise efficiency and support quality outcomes and compliance requirements;
  • Deliver fit-for-purpose financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders, including managers, executives, and funding bodies;
About You

We are looking for a passionate leader with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

  • Professional Accounting Qualifications (CPA/CA) with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline;
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards;
  • Demonstrated experience in finance, including in a leadership or management role, with experience in financial operations such as month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, FBT, and statutory compliance;
  • Experience in block funding acquisition processes would be highly regarded;
  • Community Services sector experience is highly regarded but not essential;
