Emergency Response Specialist

Job Overview- Respond promptly to emergency situations including water damage and fire damage restoration tasks.
- Evaluate and perform activities such as water extraction, fire damage restoration, and setup of specialty equipment for restoration projects.
- Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project assignment.
- Communicate safety hazards and job site requirements effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Communicate clearly with clients addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process in detail.
- Perform restoration and cleanup tasks including water extraction, drying, and site cleanup after damage.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to work occasional on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the job duties.
- Previous experience in restoration or related fields like construction is preferred but not necessary.
- IICRC certification is an advantage for career growth.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance from others.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces safely.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects as part of the job responsibilities.
- Ability to work with and around cleaning agents used in the restoration process.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
