Emergency Response Professional

The Emergency Response Officer role involves providing emergency response, injury management and security services across the site on a 4/4 continuous shift. This is a residentially based position in Port Pirie, South Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain appropriate site emergency response in compliance with Major Hazard Facility requirements.
- Undertake first response medical care for injured employees.
- Respond to all fire, rescue and hazardous materials emergencies onsite.
- Operate and maintain an industrial Health Care Centre.
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol Testing - scheduled and casual.
- Hlt41115 Certificate IV in Health Care or Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations).
- Current unrestricted Class C South Australian Drivers License.
- Current Security Agent license (South Australia) or the ability to obtain.
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.
- Able to maintain a high level of fitness to undertake the requirements of the role.
