The role of an Emergency Response Officer is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees at a workplace. They must have strong leadership skills to manage emergency situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency response services that meet or exceed regulatory requirements
  • Provide medical care for injured employees, utilizing advanced first aid skills to administer appropriate treatment
  • Respond promptly to all fire, rescue, and hazardous materials emergencies on site
  • Oversee and maintain a fully operational industrial Health Care Centre to ensure it remains compliant with regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41115) or equivalent qualification in public safety (firefighting operations)
  • Unrestricted Class C driver's license for South Australia, as well as a Security Agent license (South Australia) or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office software
