Senior Sector Lead Strategy & Planning

We invite expressions of interest for the role of Senior Sector Lead Strategy & Planning, a critical position within our infrastructure sector. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the long-term strategic direction, influencing high-impact decisions across the business.

This senior role will require collaboration with business unit leaders to translate strategic direction into actionable initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will foster cross-functional alignment across finance, operations, and business development to ensure cohesive execution of strategic priorities.

A key focus will be on delivering market and competitive insights that drive decision-making while identifying and supporting M&A opportunities and broader growth initiatives.

Through providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders and engagement with external partners, industry bodies, and customers, this role will support and strengthen our market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to align strategic objectives and drive results
  • Deliver market and competitive insights to inform business decisions
  • Identify and support M&A opportunities and broader growth initiatives
  • Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and engage with external partners, industry bodies, and customers

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in senior leadership roles, with experience in strategy development and implementation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to analyze complex data and deliver insightful recommendations
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities
