About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to increase sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to team members to ensure they are equipped to meet sales targets.
- Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Create and implement plans to grow sales and revenue, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, patient care, clinical, and compliance teams to execute business strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Manage and Analyze Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales results, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address deficiencies.
- Develop and Maintain Professional Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, physicians, post-acute care, and assisted living communities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a leadership capacity, with at least five years' experience in the healthcare/therapeutics, sales, or marketing field.
- Skills: Proficiency in business analytics, ability to develop strategies and solutions to drive sales, prioritization and organization skills, and ability to work effectively as a team leader/member.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required. Master's degree preferred.
