Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex substance use disorders.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals and support staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to substance abuse treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology with full registration with AHPRA or the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in substance abuse treatment and support or community work with relevant clinical experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills with the ability to interact constructively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level clinical advice, education, and support to others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
