Job Summary

The role of Head of Pathways is a crucial one in education, responsible for supporting the mission of Catholic schools by leading learning and teaching programs related to student pathways and vocational training.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support students and their families in making informed decisions about their future
  • Monitor the quality of student learning and teacher practice through supervision and guidance
  • Analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and improve educational outcomes
  • Fostering partnerships within and outside the school community
  • Effectively managing resources to achieve desired results
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in Education or a related field
  • Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or eligibility to register
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, ability to inspire and motivate others, administrative skills, and effective interpersonal relationships
  • A commitment to achieving Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School and Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education)
  • Able to understand and implement Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • A valid driver's license
  • A strong commitment to Catholic Education
