Student Services Director

The Student Services Director is responsible for delivering support to students with vision impairment.
This leadership role works collaboratively with the organization's management team within the portfolio area of student services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all student support services provided by visiting teachers and partner organizations.
- Ensuring state-wide data on request and service provision is maintained for efficient access.
- Monitoring students' access to curriculum and learning environments through consultation and/or direct service delivery.
- Developing and delivering professional learning needs for educators and staff.
- Staying informed about legislation and policies impacting education, particularly for students with vision impairment.
- Managing human resources, finances, and teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Communicating with parents, staff, and educational institutes to improve student outcomes.
