We are seeking a dedicated Student Wellbeing Officer to join our team based at Wynnum State School. If you have a passion for providing social and emotional support to students, parents and staff, then this role may be the ideal opportunity for you.

**Job Description:**

As a Student Wellbeing Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality support services to students and staff in accordance with the Queensland Government Student Wellbeing Officer Funding Program. This will involve creating a positive environment that encompasses the student, their families and the staff you are supporting, to ensure engagement by those at risk.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Minimum Certificate IV in Pastoral Care, Youth Work or equivalent qualification, including 3 units of competency in mental health and making appropriate referrals, along with a unit in pastoral care or working with youth (or equivalent).

- Previous experience in pastoral care or welfare is highly regarded.

- Current driver's licence required.
