We currently have an opportunity for a passionate and committed team member to join our team as our Student Support Officer -SEE Program in our Inala office.

The Role - A Day in the Life of an Student Support Officer -SEE Program

As an Student Support Officer you will provide essential support to students, helping them navigate their educational journey and achieve their full potential.  The role achieves this by ensuring that all student-related administrative processes across ETC Training sites are accurate, centralised, and compliant with RTO Standards, contract requirements, and ETC procedures. Maintain up-to-date and compliant training documentation to support student success and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Provide direct support to students, including enrolment and course enquiries, and program engagement support.
  • Maintain accurate and current student records and any administrative tasks related to student services, such as maintaining student records, scheduling appointments, attendance and assessment results.
  • Accurate data input into Workforce Australia Online Platform.
  • Assist in scheduling training sessions, assessments and student events coordinating with student and trainers for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance of student interactions and support services with regulations and standards. Produce, verify, approve, and issue Certificates and Statements of Attainment within set timeframes.

Criteria for Success

  • Ability to be an integral part of team
  • Proven ability to support students with their study journey with ETC
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, proficient in maintaining accurate records and managing administrative tasks
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office suite, LMS & SMS systems
  • A recent, clear National Police Check
  • A current QLD Blue Card

Desirable

  • Experience within SEE Program or RTO Administration roles.
