About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Leadership Director to lead core verticals for Xero's AI products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies that deliver exceptional value to our customers.

With a strong background in AI/ML and customer obsession, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on AI products, developing 0-1 products, and leading complex projects in ambiguous environments. You will also possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies that align with Xero's overall vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Drive the development of new products and features, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product leadership or a related field, with a strong focus on AI/ML.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products and features, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels.
