Job Opportunity: Maintenance Supervisor

The role of Maintenance Supervisor is to lead and coordinate the daily operations of a maintenance team, ensuring that machinery and equipment are properly maintained to support production efficiency and workplace safety.

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the maintenance team and plan daily meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs using MEX maintenance software, and ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out electrical fault finding and mechanical fitting as needed, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the course of maintenance work.
  • Organize and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Support site maintenance across multiple locations, and provide training and mentoring to operators and maintenance staff.
  • Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all WHS and environmental standards, and liaise with managers, suppliers and authorities to optimize equipment performance and availability.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Trades or Electrical qualification (essential).
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery, systems and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency with maintenance software (MEX preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to support both electrical and mechanical work 50/50.
  • Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Current driver's license (EWP license and First Aid desirable).
  • Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
