Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Maintenance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and urgent maintenance, managing waste and supplies, driving the village van, and ensuring facilities remain in excellent working condition.

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Respond quickly to urgent maintenance and repair needs to minimize disruption to residents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and manage inventory of tools and supplies to optimize efficiency.
  • Engage respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and contractors to build strong relationships and promote a positive work environment.
  • Support environmental sustainability and waste management practices to reduce our ecological footprint.
  • Uphold safety standards and contribute to risk and compliance initiatives to protect residents, staff, and the community.

The ideal candidate will have trade certification and experience in property, facility, or retirement living maintenance. Strong time management and problem-solving skills, good physical health, and experience with maintenance or building management software are highly desirable.
