Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant or facilities maintenance, with experience in working in a production environment focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency.

They will also possess solid understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety compliance, as well as the ability to manage contractors and maintenance teams in an operational environment.

In addition, the candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to use initiative.

The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency, and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and programs to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), plant reliability, and long-term asset performance.

They will also oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely execution of maintenance tasks, optimization of spare parts inventory, and continuous reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in plant or facilities maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
  • Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience in working in a production environment focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety compliance.
  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance teams in an operational environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative.
