Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively follow up on quotes that didn't result in business, aiming for a minimum 50% win ratio.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and concerns, tailoring solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Analyse and amend quotes to meet customer requirements, ensuring accurate information and exceptional service.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and feedback, facilitating collaboration between teams.
  • Collaborate with the Director, sales, and customer service teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and market trends, providing expert advice to customers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the timber and hardware industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills, with proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary package of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A Monday to Friday roster, providing a great work-life balance.
