Automated Process Engineer

Candidates sought for a highly technical position to oversee PCS/MES and PLC process recipes.
This role will involve coordinating the definition of hardware with platform owners, including software development and system coordination, to enable commissioning and validation of process systems.
As part of this team, you will contribute to audit inspections and ensure strong quality control across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities- Technical subject matter expert providing oversight and review of contractors' work during design, construction, commissioning, and validation.
- Ensure overall recipe design and implementation meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure installation and configuration to ISA-S88/S95 standards during project phases: requirements definition, detailed design generation, software configuration, system integration, and qualification testing.
- Participate in creation of execution system validation strategy together with global and site CSV & Quality representatives.
- Perform project manager role on an interim basis ensuring project work is completed within budget and on schedule.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or relevant science discipline (e.g. computer science or management information systems).
- At least 5 years' practical experience in pharmaceutical industry including direct management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or execution systems/automation.
- Specific experience in process automation, MES, and batch manufacturing industry standards (ISA S88 &S95).
- Hands-on experience in recipe and workflow authoring, configuring master data and equipment in MES would be advantageous.
- Direct experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting automation and execution systems in process-based manufacturing environment.
