Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Automation Process Optimiser. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising Goods-To-Person automation platforms in a high-output distribution centre.

About the Role:
  • The Automation Process Optimiser will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing, collaborating with Engineering, DC Operations, and Planning to align labour and automation strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will analyse system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost.
  • Key responsibilities also include developing and improving scalable processes across low, medium, and peak demand periods.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Natural leadership qualities with strong attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • The Automation Process Optimiser should be proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) is a bonus.
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication are necessary for effective collaboration and reporting.
