Join our team and help us optimize manufacturing processes by taking on the role of Senior Automation Engineer. In this position, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of PCS/MES and PLC recipes, collaborating with the Platform Owner to ensure seamless integration and software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a technical expert in process automation and own the review of contractor work during design, construction, commissioning, and validation phases
  • Ensure recipe designs meet Engineering and Manufacturing requirements for plant operation
  • Implement ISA-S88/S95 standards during project phases: Requirements definition, detailed design generation, software configuration, system integration, and Qualification testing
  • Participate in creating Execution System validation strategies with CSV & Quality representatives and contribute to audit inspections
  • Act as an interim Project Manager to lead projects within budget and schedule
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Science discipline (e.g., Computer Science)
  • At least 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry management with direct experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Execution Systems/Automation
  • Specific knowledge of process automation, MES, and batch manufacturing industry standards (ISA S88 & S95)
  • Hands-on experience in Recipe and Workflow Authoring, configuring master data, and equipment in MES is advantageous
  • Direct experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting automation and execution systems in a process-based manufacturing environment
