Senior HSE Professional

About the Role:
Our client, a leading offshore EPCI contractor in the energy industry, is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Professional to support their project team offshore. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety culture on the vessel, ensuring the correct implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and promoting employee ownership and accountability for their health and safety.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to all company employees on health, safety, and security matters, promoting safety awareness and ensuring that all employees, including subcontractors, are aware of the company's requirements.
- Identify safety-critical elements related to project works and coordinate the execution of risk analysis, HAZOPs, job safety analysis, risk assessments, and other technical HSE studies as required, following up on resulting actions.
- Conduct HSE inspections and audits on all company sites, both onshore and offshore, to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the company on HSE matters and represent the HSE function at various meetings as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of HSE in the Oil and Gas Industry, including experience in managing HSE on a vessel.
- Recognized HSE qualification, along with offshore qualifications.
- Knowledge and understanding of the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard.
- Experience in writing and implementing HSE project documentation in accordance with company, client, and statutory requirements.
- Experience in conducting audits and accident/incident investigations and producing subsequent reports.
