Dispatch Operator

The role of a Dispatch Operator is critical in maintaining the smooth operation of essential services. You will work within a network operations centre, effectively dispatching and communicating unplanned maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption.

This position is ideal for those with experience dealing with infrastructure faults in utilities and have worked in a control room environment, particularly in emergency services or similar sectors.

You will be coordinating field operations resources to attend priority work, prioritizing and communicating work requests, including client/customer escalations efficiently.

In addition, you will be performing fault call taking duties from customers as required, driving productivity and efficiency without compromising safety, environmental and quality objectives.

About this role: previous experience in a similar role and industry is advantageous, along with prior experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo & Click. Demonstrated expertise in planning, implementing and managing maintenance activities is also desirable.
