Role Overview
This position is a shared responsibility between the Assessment Evaluation and Review Services (AERS) and Medical Adult Day Care (MADC) programs.
The incumbent provides support services to clients aiming to remain at home or undergo evaluations in healthcare facilities, while also offering direct social work services to MADC enrolled clients and facilitating new client enrollments into the program.
Key Responsibilities- Providing social work services within the AERS unit to assist clients in remaining at home or undergoing evaluations in healthcare facilities.
- Offering direct social worker services to clients enrolled in MADC.
- Supporting enrollment of new clients into the MADC program.
- Meet licensing requirements for Social Workers as determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Possess two years of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting after earning an approved Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
