Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Embark on a challenging role as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.
In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and managing environmental health and safety systems and programs across commercial operations. This includes field sales, technicians, and office settings.
You will support leadership teams and line management in the implementation of the ESW plan and associated programs and systems. Additionally, you will provide ongoing business coaching for timely reporting, quality investigations, and improved actions management.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Servicing regulatory matters, including external reportable incidents
- Cultivating safety conversations and rolling out the Asahi Beverages Safety Leadership Program
- Implementing compliance requirements and assurance activities
To succeed in this role, you will require experience leading Environment, Safety & Wellbeing in multiple businesses. Strong communication and influencing skills are also essential for working with management and front-line leaders.
Prior experience in facilitating training programs and continuous improvement programs is highly valued. A working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and AS/NZ Standards is also necessary.
