Occupational Rehabilitation Role

This role is ideal for a skilled professional seeking a challenging and rewarding career in occupational rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have expertise in assisting individuals to return to meaningful occupation, evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs, and identifying future employment or training options.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of clients who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Assist clients to identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goal
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives

Requirements
  • Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
