Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

At our organization, we deliver high-standard services in workplace health, injury management and safety.

Our occupational rehabilitation specialists apply their clinical reasoning skills to support personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will take a holistic care approach to support the journey from rehab to healing.

  • Perform assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including employees who have suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals.
  • Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans based on service delivery outcomes, not billable hours.

What makes you successful:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work.
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Strong clinical reasoning.
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate.
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded.
