Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our Wollongong branch in achieving market share growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic plans to drive business opportunities in the localised area. This involves utilising business development skills to build long-term connections with community groups, stakeholders, and partners.

This is a vital leadership role within our Community Bank team and broader branch network, requiring an all-rounder with commercial, operational, and leadership expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILDING STRATEGIC PLANS TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH IN THE LOCALISED AREA
  • BUILDING LONG-TERM CONNECTIONS WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND PARTNERS
  • LEADING A TEAM TO SUCCESS IN SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM PLANS
  • ESTABLISHING AND NURTURING BUSINESS NETWORKS TO BUILD THE BRANCH PROFILE IN YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • EXPERIENCE IN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL LENDING (ESSENTIAL)
  • UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ACUMEN, AND RISK FRAMEWORK
  • KNOWLEDGE OF LOAN APPLICATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND KNOWLEDGE OF BRANCH OPERATIONS IS REQUIRED

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
