About The Role

The Registered Nurse is a skilled professional who delivers high-quality patient care and contributes to the excellence of nursing services. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centered and safe patient outcomes.

This position requires a contemporary clinician who can provide evidence-based nursing services, adhering to relevant legislation and registration requirements from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). The ideal candidate will have educational preparation, continuing professional development, and experience in primary health care nursing, corrections, emergency or rural and remote health.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of primary health care nursing principles, enabling you to deliver competent nursing care in complex situations.
  • Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated high standard of written and oral communication skills, including the ability to use information systems appropriate to the position.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, incorporating evidence-based practice and individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective patient care strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant legislation and registration requirements.

  • Contributing to the development of new policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered nurse qualification, recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
