Workshop Supervisor - Truck Bay

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Automotive On-Highway team in the Wodonga Workshop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop, managing a team of technicians and apprentices, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and apprentices to achieve exceptional results
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless processes from start to finish
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the Branch Leadership
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Act as a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time

Requirements

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic preferred, but will also consider a Light Vehicle background with heavy experience
  • Experience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles, such as Kenworth and Western Star
  • Experience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM procedures
  • HR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck advantageous
  • Previous or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environment
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
